It Never to Late!!

Yep Its never to late to do anything. I'm writing this post because I have a new motto and outlook on life. "It's never to late!!" 

First I'm going to have you read this article on my Grandmother who is 95 years young.

78 years later!

Yep that is her getting her Diploma!!

My Grandmother is one Amazing lady. She has shown me what it is to be a Proverbs 31 & Titus 2 woman.

I cant even put down all the amazing things that she has told me over the years about her life and my family history. I'm thankful that she is writing it all down for our family. 

So with this new outlook on life and putting it down for everyone to see. 

AHH!!  Ok I can't believe I'm saying this.    

I Amy Greene is going back to school!!!

AHHH I just said that!!

Yes I have my HS Diploma. But I want to do something a little more just in case something in life changes.

That is one thing GG (Grandma) has taught us all. Just in case life happens have faith in God & and just keep going. Please pray for me and with me and my family on this new adventure. God keeps pointing at.

Disneyland trip.

Well yep we did it again. Disney was on our things to do when we moved back to the USA. It was planned when we found out where we where moving to. Our Cousin asked us if we wanted to go with them. we took many Disney Trips(every year) with them. So it was like old times.So Here is a run down of our week long trip to Disneyland.

Makiah on Friday before we left.

Sunday: Disneyland. Makiah's first trip

First stop Mickey Mouse.

Makiah's First ride was Dumbo. I missed it due to Rhianna getting sick.

Her and I sat in the first aid station for an house till she felt better. 

We did do a few others but did not get any pic.

Tea Cups in the afternoon. 

Pirates, Haunted Mansion then

this was the last ride of the day before we got ready to watch Fantasmic show.

Monday: A day at Knotts Berry farm. Look it up if you have never heard about it. Its a great family park.I did not take any pic this day. It was just so much fun. I forgot. 

Tuesday: BEACH day. 

Wednesday:  California Adventure & Makiah's Princess dinner.

First it was off to Cars land.

Princess Makiah and her Royal court.

  

This was my by far favorite memory of the day.

Also this same day we got to see Wonder of Color show.

 Loved it. 

Thursday: Last day.

OK so never in the last 10 years did we ever do the Tiki Hut. LOL. But this time we did.

 Got it. I will only ever go there if I want a nap or just to eat my Dole Whip in peace.

( You do need to see it for your self to understand.) 

But YUM on the Dole Whip. Why have I never had that before.

Oh Yeah Brian. LOL

 I did a really cool thing this time with Makiah instead of a pic book being signed I did a tee-shirt.

So much easier. We did not get 3 out of all the Princess at the park.

 So next march when we go it will get done.

 Yep we stopped to see Tigger and Pooh.

But the last stop of our trip was that best. Thats what Makiah said. It was Tower of Terror.

Yep My Baby rode the The Tower. She loved it. She wanted to go again but it was grad night and the park closed. We where the last fast pass people. 

                                     

So that was it for Our Trip. It was fun. Next year is already in the budget and planning stages. 

I know crazy. We are.

Birthday fun

Yep May Is Madness. Its a huge birthday month and it the end of year for school people (not us). But this year was more then normal and the month is not over yet.
What I mean by that May is a huge Birthday month in our extend family about 6 birthdays. But just 2 in 2 days in our family. Makiah's was the 16th and she turned the big 5. Holy Cow my baby is five. Yes I had tears. Brian's the 17th also my Grandma's (GG) is the same day as Brian's.

 

Had a little Birthday party with my sisters foster kids. Its also ways fun at their house.

But on her Birthday I covered her door in Princess paper. who would not like that.

Next was Presents from Family. Head Phones and her Disney ticket.

Then the rest of the day was Food and shopping. YEAH!!!!

So for Makiah's 5th Briday it lasted a week. Wow!!

Tried it Tuesday!!!

Yep its Tuesday. Holy Moly!!! Its reached 100 plus here in the southern part of AZ. So because its so hot I'm trying to make salads that are cool and refreshing. 

So the First one I made this week is a Broccoli & grape Salad. 

So Start off with a head of Fresh Broccoli cut it in to small bush like pieces(florets).

Get red seedless grapes cut them in halves. 

Oh Bacon cut bacon in inch pieces and fry them up and let them sit and cool. 

I also used 2 stalks of Celery chopped.

Also One slice of Onion chopped. ( not big onion fans in in my house.) 

Half cup of Mayo, and a sprinkle of sugar. Mix well or toss. Set in fridge for 1 hour.

Well That's it Yummy coolness for hot days.

Tried it Tuesday.

Ok Most of the time I would use food for Tried it Tuesday. But from time to time something different is going to happen. This Tuesday was hair. I love that my Youngest has beautiful hair. But Jezz we cant keep it clean with out it being up. So I Tried a Waterfall braid. 

Not so bad for my first time. I'm working on a few more. So that's it for Tried it Tuesday.

Wednesday in the Word.

This is new I'm hoping that with this I'm able to get more in to the Bible then just with my Morning quite time and what I do with the kids. But I'm in a new Bible study it online makes life easier. So As I was reading this weeks Verses the one that Opened my heart a little more was
 John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  
1. " Peace I give you" Its not the Spa/Nap Peace. Its the Knowing I don't have to carry everything by myself Peace. 
 2. Its the Knowing I have LIFE after death Peace. " My Peace I give to you," That is what He gave us when was beaten and hung on a cross to die for us. Yep that was HIM for US.
3. The world says peace but that is just for a short breath. It does not even give us what we need.
So Why should our heart be Troubled or Afraid. My answer to that is  CAUSE GODS got US and everything we Stress.

So Leave your worries and stress at the Feet of Jesus.

Tried it Tuesday!!!

So this time We baked Cauliflower!?!?!

Yep you heard it here

Baked Cauliflower is like fries.

YUMMY!!

So what I do is cut smaller pieces then what it looks here. Rinse it off.

 Toss them in a Bowl with Olive Oil and 1 Tsp of Sea salt.

 Bake at 400' for 30 min's, then turn them then finish for another 30 min's.

My kids eat is up. Brian likes it also. Yeah one more Veggie new to this family of Picky Veggie Eaters.

PS: No Ketchup needed to eat.

Friday Flash back!!

Yep here we are again with a Friday flash back. 

Since its Spring and for me Spring is Flowers, Baseball, and fun in the sun.

Its the little things.

Its the little thing in life that make you all giddy inside. Makes you have butterflies in you stomach. Makes you love someone so much that when your together you don't say anything but I love you.

Today is 14 years of being married to a wonderful man that loves God, Me, Our kids, The great out doors, and Baseball. I would not change a thing. Thanks for 14 years Brain. 

This is what I woke up to this morning when I went o get my coffee.

So thankful for the little things in life. 

Tried it Tuesday!!

This is going to be something we try as a family. You will get to here who like it and who did not. 

So for the first thing is Bacon wrapped Asparagus. 

 

So some of you are thinking YUCK. Mainly cause of the Asparagus. 

Try is with maple bacon baked at 400* for 30 mins with turning them after 25 mins.

So who liked it and who did not. 

Mom and Rhianna Loved it. Who could not like anything with Bacon.

Dad, Justin and Makiah said Yuck. 

Oh well their loss.
