Its the little things.

Its the little thing in life that make you all giddy inside. Makes you have butterflies in you stomach. Makes you love someone so much that when your together you don't say anything but I love you.
Today is 14 years of being married to a wonderful man that loves God, Me, Our kids, The great out doors, and Baseball. I would not change a thing. Thanks for 14 years Brain.

This is what I woke up to this morning when I went o get my coffee.
So thankful for the little things in life.

Tried it Tuesday!!

This is going to be something we try as a family. You will get to here who like it and who did not.
So for the first thing is Bacon wrapped Asparagus.

So some of you are thinking YUCK. Mainly cause of the Asparagus.
Try is with maple bacon baked at 400* for 30 mins with turning them after 25 mins.

So who liked it and who did not.
Mom and Rhianna Loved it. Who could not like anything with Bacon.
Dad, Justin and Makiah said Yuck.
Oh well their loss.

Hope you try it just to try it. Have a Blessed Tuesday.

A wet monday in Feburay.

Hey all,
I know!!! I know. I have not blogged in forever. We have had so many things happen since I last wrote. So I will make this a quick note to catch you up on what the Greene family has been up to. and its a lot. I will start back in Sept 2011.We had visiters. My Mom and Dad come to Italy for a whole month. In that time fream we went to Venice, Rome, Pisa, and a few little places around here. I'll show you a few pic's. Most of you wil most likly think well where is Brian in m ost of these. I will get back to you on that question after the Pics
Yes Brian was in this one. But Venice was the only place he got to go with us.

The kids and I at Trevi Fountain.

Inside the Colosseum

Mom and Dad having fun with the Roman guards. Great fun after runing around the Colosseum.
Now to see if we can fix the leaning Tower of Pisa.

.
Rhianna first.
Dad with his trusty cane. (that he left here in Italy)
Mom's turn.
My Mom cracks me up.

So that ended our trip for the most part. We had a great time. The kids loved being with Honey & Papa (aka Amy's mom and dad.) They missed them greatly. But to was only for 6 weeks till they got to see them again. So to tell you why Brian was not with us is cuse he had to go to the states for some training for an upcoming Deployment. Brain left the same week my parents did for Africa.  Yep I said Africa. We had mixed emotions over him leaving on this deploment. You know the down side him being gone over the Holidays and missing out on things. But on the upside its great for his career and we get to stay in Europe and see a few more things before God moves us on. So for the Holiday's the kids and I went home. After a long (5day) layover in Germany we made it to Az. We had a wonderful time with family and it made time pass by really fast. Now we are back home and back in to the swing of things and now just playign the waiting game for Brian to get home and start our last 6 months in Italy. Now time for planning our trips to France, Ireland, England, and a few other places. So Ciao for today. The kdis and I must get busy on school work.
Blessings

SCHOOL TIME!!!

School Time oh hang on I mean Home school. Yep you are most likely thinking. Wow she is brave or really Amy doing that that is not her. Well thats right its not me its God.
Rhianna, Justin, and Yes Makiah all doing school work.

Let me take you back to the begenning of 2011. We had just had a teachers meeting with Rhianna's teacher in the fall of 2010 she asked us to get Rhianna checked for ADHD. We put that off till we had another meeting with her and the school counsler till early spring. At this point we did not know what was going on with Rhianna's learning and what to do. But after that meeting and then another about 4weeks later. Brian and I sat down and prayed about what needed to be done. We where to have another meeting with the school to find out where she was what was going to happen inthe next year for Rhianna. This meeting never happend.
Well then God stepped in. Rhianna was getting ready for bed and I was in the room talking to her and I noticed that she had some brusing on her back I asked her what happend. Well at first she did not want to say. So after a few min's she told us she was hit by a girl that had been a friend and an enemy the whole time we have been here. So that was the last full week of school for Rhianna. Then for 2 weeks we where in constant prayer and seeking. Well low and behold with all that prayign and seeking God kept showing us each day what we wanted us to do. So for sure Rhianna was going to be homeschooled  We where ok with sending Justin to school till the phone rang while I was having a nice shopping trip with my Bestie. Here is where God showed us his full plan for our family.
It was Justin's teacher (on the phone) to tell me he was not feeling well and why. She said he was fine and that I need not to come pick him up. The reason my son got sick at school was cause he was told by a classmate of his a very detailed story of something no 6 year old boy should learn at that age. So that night Brian and I said to each other "That was our sign." So that brings us to the hear and now. Our homeschooing adventure that God is derecting everystep and filling everypage with his hand.
